Learn how to build your own HV Electromagnets! You can build them to any size or power range
you want. Great for motors,
engines, generators or transformers. Learn the proper technique of winding. The plans will
also show you how to build a homemade automatic coil winder. You will then be
able to wind as many coils as you want very quickly. Coils can also be wound by simply using a drill press at
50 to 100 rpm's. The copper coated wire can be purchased locally or
on the internet. The copper wire is wound around special homemade
plastic bobbins that can be easily made from PVC plastic
you may already have laying around your house such as CD case holders. It is
best to just buy PVC sheeting and cut it to size. PVC sheets are
easy to work with just as easy as PVC pipe you can buy at any
hardware store. You can easily cut the plastic with a knife or
hacksaw, which can then be easily glued using all purpose PVC pipe
glue. PVC sheets can be purchased at any local sign shop or screen
printing supply company in your area or on the internet. You may be
able to get your local hardware store to order some for you. Did you
know you can get copper coated wire from old wall plug in
transformers you may have just laying around the house as well as
old microwave oven transformers. |
